Learn Ukrainian from scratch — online and at your own pace!

Dear international students, visiting scholars, and friends of Ukraine,

We are happy to invite you to join our new online course “The Ukrainian Language and Culture”, developed within the Erasmus+ DigiFLEd Project.
Pilot launch: 9 February 2026

This A1-level beginner course is designed for anyone taking their first steps in Ukrainian and supports our mission to share and promote Ukrainian language and culture worldwide.

Format: fully online, self-paced
Languages of instruction: English & Ukrainian
Learning tools: interactive multimedia materials for flexible, independent study

By joining the course, you will:

learn the basics of Ukrainian (A1 level);
develop practical communication skills for everyday situations (greetings, travel, shopping);
become familiar with key sociocultural aspects of life in Ukraine;
explore Ukrainian traditions through language and communication.

For whom: international students, visiting scholars, academic staff.
Study load: 120 hours (4 ECTS)
Level: A1 (Elementary)
